We are seeking a visionary and experienced Lead Product Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Lead Product Designer, you will mentor a team of designers, drive design strategy, and advocate for user-centric principles to deliver intuitive and visually appealing solutions. Responsibilities
- Lead and Inspire: Lead and mentor a team of product designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
- Provide guidance, feedback, and support to ensure the team’s growth and development.
- Design Strategy: Develop and drive the overall design strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into intuitive and visually appealing design solutions.
- User-Centric Design: Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle. Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and validate design decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing, to ensure a seamless and cohesive product experience.
- Design Systems: Establish and maintain a robust design system to ensure consistency and scalability across all digital products. Evolve the design system based on user feedback, industry best practices, and emerging design trends.
- Prototyping and Iteration: Create interactive prototypes to communicate and validate design concepts. Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
- 8+ Years of experience on end to end user centric and creative design
- An expert in hands-on knowledge for creating a powerful UX/UI in IOS/Android mobile apps and websites
- Proven experience as a senior-level product designer with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful and innovative designs.
- In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles and practices.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Knowledge of eCommerce and understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the industry.
