Oracle Cloud HCM Functional Consultant (Core HR & Compensation)
As a Functional Consultant for Oracle Cloud HCM – Core HR & Compensation, you will act as a subject‐matter expert for these modules, working closely with HR stakeholders, business partners and IT. You will lead requirement workshops, map business processes to system features, configure the application, support testing and deployment, and ensure value is delivered to the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead gathering of business requirements for Core HR (legal entity, business
unit, department, jobs/positions/assignments) and Compensation (eligibility,
budget modelling, award components) modules.
Conduct fit‐gap analysis, map requirements to Oracle Cloud HCM
functionality and work with stakeholders to define solution options.
Configure the system: enterprise structures, worker/assignment data, security
roles, compensation plans & budget frameworks across global/multinational
contexts.
Collaborate with integration, reporting and data migration teams (e.g., HCM
Extracts, HDL, BI/OTBI) to ensure smooth data flow and reporting of comp &
hr metrics.
Support testing phases: unit, system, UAT – develop test scripts, facilitate
user training, validate results and assist with go‐live cutover and post‐go‐live
stabilisation.
Provide operational support and continual improvement: monitor business
usage, propose process optimisations, stay updated with Oracle Cloud HCM
releases and enhancements.
Work effectively in cross‐functional/multicultural settings and liaise with global
teams as needed (India/EMEA/APAC).
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience working with Oracle Cloud HCM (preferably Core HR
and Compensation modules).
