Senior Java Developer (3–5 Years)
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team and lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable backend services. In this role, you will be responsible for building robust microservices, optimizing system performance, and ensuring the highest standards of security and reliability in our distributed architecture. The ideal candidate is a collaborative problem-solver comfortable working within Agile environments to deliver high-quality features.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement complex backend components and microservices using Java and Spring frameworks.
Develop high-performance, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs.
Work on asynchronous processing, messaging queues, and distributed systems to improve throughput.
Participate in system architecture design and define API contracts and database schemas.
Optimize Java applications for performance bottlenecks related to CPU, memory, and databases.
Implement authentication, authorization, and encryption using standards like OAuth2 and JWT.
Ensure code quality through extensive unit/integration testing, peer reviews, and CI/CD contributions.
Manage tasks using Jira and work closely with cross-functional teams including frontend, QA, and DevOps.
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of professional experience in Java backend development.
Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and RESTful API best practices.
Proven ability to design and maintain scalable distributed systems.
Strong understanding of security standards (OAuth2, JWT, TLS) and performance optimization techniques.
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, static code analysis (SonarQube), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies and task management tools like Jira.
